The view from the house is very pretty...
Flowers around the pool.
There is an old graveyard here. A family with the last name of Coates buried some family members here before the 1900's. Someone asked me if that creeped me out, I've decided it doesn't. They have a fence up to preserve the site. Unfortunately, I don't know the story on the family, they were not related to the last 2 or 3 people that owned this property. So, I guess the story is lost.
On a lighter note, apparently pool water is much better than drinking fresh clean non-chlorine water out of buckets.
Pouncer prefers to eat his food out of the extra bag instead of the bowl I've provided. This has put a damper on his inside-the-house-at-night privledges. He has an open bag in the garage. He can eat the food out of the bag if that's what he likes but he can't do it inside.
A little bit of random harmonizing. Once again, I can't hear why.
Does anyone suppose the people that used to live here were republicans? I don't think I'd get rid of the elephants either...they add to the ambience and the way I look at it...it's a jungle!
Puppies find all kinds of cool stuff. I think this is a coyote.

Sacked out on the cool cement after a long gator ride with much treeing of animals I can't see.

Herman is showing me he'd like to sleep in my room. I'd love to have him but the chiggers, ticks and fleas are rampant and, even after Advantaging, they still carry them around. This is upstairs. Herman OR Hudson is allowed to sit with me at the computer upstairs but they are not allowed to go on beds. When I go to bed, they go downstairs, or sleep on the stairs behind the gate and make me feel guilty.

I love this picture of Hudson. When she was first found and about 9 months old, she slept with me while I was down here for a month. This was the face I was greeted to every morning. Of course, with a little less grey. She's only 4. The premature grey doesn't surprise me, she has worries sometimes.

For me tonight is TV night! I haven't really turned it on since I've been here which has been really nice. I finished the Twilight series and I miss Edward but all things end at sometime I guess. I have started Dan Browns new book "The Lost Symbol." My goal is to finish it before I leave so I can hand it off to a friend down here.
