Cat Trapping: Phase Three - Trap the Cats

I am pleased to announce that I caught three cats today!
The first one had me on the edge of my seat. Because she is so small, she was able to eat the food, sit on the food dish and clean herself without springing the trap.
Fortunately she sprung it when she *finally* decided to leave.
I did end up using mackeral juice at the entrance to the trap to entice them inside, that worked great. I also put a blanket over the traps immediately when I went to pick them up. It didn't make them stop moving but it calmed them considerably.

They are now in the garage, in the traps, on an old rug, with blankets covering the traps. They will be warm, the temp shouldn't dip below 40 tonight and I also gave them some water.

I found my Cat Trapping Suit was not necessary but the gloves definitely were. The grey cat is a brawly little thing. the twins are pretty mild and probably would have made great housecats if they ever had the chance.
Off to the vet in the morning! I'm not sure if I'm happier to have the cats or happier that I don't have a raccoon to let out!
