Mr. Vick is playing ball again!

I'm actually not all THAT shocked, but more dismayed.

The fact that the NFL has totally blown by his offenses and hired him back anyway, speaks to who they are. His contract is with Philadelphia for $1.6 million. The minimum "wage" for a football player with his experience is $620,000 which means he was competed for.

It's not like this guy got a DUI or was caught smoking pot. Not that these are minor offenses, but he was fighting, torturing and killing DOGS.

Let's talk about an animal that is the definition of companion. Dogs cry when they are hurt. I do not know how a person could continue to hurt a whimpering dog. It's just sick. It speaks to deeper, more troubling issues with Vick's personality and character.

He is definitely not a role model. That we can be sure of. Not that the rest of the NFL are the pillars of morality either but COME ON.

And of course it teaches everyone else that you can do something like this, get caught and resume your life.

Some people are speaking to forgiveness and rehabilitation. Um no, once again this wasn't a DUI or pot smoking charge - these can be forgiven and rehabbed.

This guy has real problems that require psychiatric help and potentially some sort of emotional training. Yikes.

Yesterday I was pissed and today I am not. My interview experience was a good one and I did not like the result. It is not the first time I've experienced politics in the workplace and it won't be the last.

I have decided not to stay mad forever and move on. If I had to go back and do it over, I wouldn't change a thing.
